Since 1840, a traditional hostelry has traded from these premises. The Johnston family have continued this tradition and are excited to be soon celebrate their 30th anniversary of ownership. During their time at the North Star, there has been extensive refurbishment and expansion of the hotel, restaurant and Olde-Worlde bar, which has made it increasingly popular with locals and visitors alike. The hotel’s traditional décor and comfort are just two of its many attractions adding to its warm and charming ambience.
Our 9 tasteful and comfortable guest rooms (including 2 ground floor) offer a high standard of accommodation. All rooms have full en-suite facilities and each individually decorated to complement the stunning surroundings. Most rooms, including the master with its four-poster bed, enjoy sea views and all have the essential ingredients for a relaxing, peaceful stay.
